This page has been produced in memory of my Mam, Vera Dent who sadly passed away on 20 April 2010 after a long battle with COPD. Throughout the course of her life, my Mam quite simply put others first and despite her illness which severely restricted her quality of life she loved being around her family and friends and more oftern than not was the life and soul of any party. I know I speak on behalf of my sister, Susan when I say that she was our inspiration and whatever we have and go onto achieve in life will be largely down to her unquestioning belief that we could be whatever we wanted to be in this world. My Mam was a remarkable woman with many great qualities, she was intelligent, driven, funny,fiercely loyal but most of all she was kind. My Dad always says that she would give away her last penny and i think its only right that through her memory with the support of our family, friends and colleagues she can keep on giving even though she is no longer with us
